The narrator has a good relationship with the old man but decides that he must kill him in order to rid himself of the eye forever. During the events of the story it is obvious that the narrator is a man in fear of the evil eye with conscience eating away at him in the events of killing the old man. He was careful not to disturb the old mans sleep each of the seven nights that he watched him and every morning he spoke courageously to him, called him by name in a hearty tone, and inquired how he had passed the night before. The old mans evil eye seems to have power over the narrator. He states I think it was his eye! Yes, it was this! He had the eye of a vulture Whenever it fell upon me, my blood ran cold. For an unknown reason, the old mans evil eye has provoked insanity in the narrator though the narrator argues that he is not crazy. He says You fancy me mad. Madmen know nothing. But you should have seen me. You should have seen how wisely I proceeded with what caution with what foresight with what dissimulation I went to work! And have I not told you that what you mistake for madness is but over-acuteness of the sense? The narrators obsession with the evil is shown by his extreme precision on how he watched the old man in order to catch a glimpse of the vulture eye. Every night at midnight he would turn the latch of the old mans door and opened it oh so gently. When he had made a sufficient opening for his head he put in a closed dark lantern so that no light shone in, then he thrust his head in, I moved it slowly very, very slowly and It took (him) and hour to place (his) whole head within the opening so far that (he) could see him Then when his head was well in the room he undid the lantern cautiously-oh, so cautiously cautiously (for the hinges creaked) I undid it just so much that a single thin ray fell upon the vulture eye. And this I did for seven long nights every night just at midnight And on the eighth night he describes a watchs minute hand as being quicker than his own. All of this shows how the narrator used such vigilance in how he went about carrying out his plan to kill the old man. The extreme precision and mindfulness that he went about doing these things in order to see the old man’s vulture eye illustrates the extent of the narrator’s obsession and fear of the evil eye. Although the narrator is so cautious about how he goes about killing the old man he begins the story by letting the reader know that he was very nervous about what he had planned to do. The narrators first sentence says TRUE! nervous very, very dreadfully nervous I had been and am. This is the first indication to the reader that the narrator does have a conscience. He even says that his idea to kill the old man haunted him day and night. When the narrator is hearing what he believes to be the old mans heart beating he is really just so nervous that he is hearing the beat of his own heart. The beat becomes so loud that he begins to worry; But the beating grew louder, louder! I thought the heart must burst. And now a new anxiety seized me the sound would be heard by a neighbour! After the killing is done and the officers have not found anything suspicious they sit over the dead body and begin in chat. As they are chatting the narrator, now the killer, grows anxious and his guilty conscience begins to overwhelm him. He says I felt myself getting pale and wished them gone. This caused him to begin to hear his own heart beat louder and louder again. The noise drove him to agony and he began to think the officers were making a mockery of his horror. His guilty conscience overwhelmed him so much that he couldnt bear it any longer until he finally admitted to doing the deed to the officers. Edgar Allan Poe indicates that the narrator is a mentally ill man with an extreme fear of the old mans vulture eye. Or should he be viewed as a mentally ill, mad man? Throughout the events of the story, the narrator is unaware that his plan to kill the old man simply to rid himself of the evil eye is wrong. Poe wants readers to see that this man, the narrator, does indeed have a conscience though. It just doesnt overpower his obsession with the eye and his plan to get rid of it. Of course, the system is difficult to maintain and changes if the system error was occurred. Moreover, Aalsmeer hard to verify the customers tastes and everything computerise that will estrange the customers. 4.2 Management On the management aspect, a new system will generate the statement, invoice, report or arrange document systematically time by using computer. The whole process will be more effectiveness and save time, because all can be done in shorter. The new system will organize the workload automatically to reduce the burden to the management. Furthermore, there will not have any excuse from employees when they do not perform well, this obviously can avoid argument between manager and employees. Additionally, there will a huge amount of orders from customers by using the new system and all business transaction data will be recorded clearly and quickly. However, there are such of disadvantages for the applying new system too. It will very difficult to repair if the system process error occurs during the working hours and hard to continue the operation, because the system might down or even has to stop the operation for the repairing. Perhaps, they will get a lot of complains from their customers too. 4.3 Employee Manpower will be affected too. Firstly, amount of employees will be decrease, because everything can be done by automatically with the new system. For the long-term, it can be save cost for Aalsmeer. Next, the quality and efficiency of employee increase because they just need to follow the system to do what they should be done without the confusing document processes. Obviously, the working flow will be more efficiency and reliable. Otherwise, before the new system applying, Aalsmeer should train their employee in order to get use for the new system. Then there will be a large amount of training fees. Beside, senior staffs prefer old system because of well practice whether its complicated. Of course, the use of new system will decrease the job opportunity to the public. 5.0 Conclusion In conclusion, although there are such advantages and disadvantages on the new system, the system is useful nowadays because the people habits are always changing with the new technology. Furthermore, the electronically had already driven to the flower market and the standing of electronically cannot be ignored in this world. Therefore, implement the new system into an organisation is very important and it is not only for increase of profit, and also can compete with the competitors with positive competition.

Looking Through the Eyes of the Faultless Painter Essay -- Adrea del Sa

Andrea del Sarto's title in Browning's eyes should be considered â€Å"the faultless painter†. For del Sarto, capturing something beautiful is worth almost anything. But del Sarto finds himself trapped between two identities: That of a husband to his wife, and that of an artist to his patrons. Andrea del Sarto recognizes that his work as a painter often distances him from his wife, but he also recognizes that his love for his wife has reduced his capability to paint subjects as they are. Of course, del Sarto himself is presenting only his side of the story, that of a man who is trying to support his wife with his work; it would be interesting to see Lucrezia's side of the tale. What is fascinating is that del Sarto's world view and explanation of his life, the narrative of his existence, seems to be totally sincerely held, yet it is also in many ways deeply contradictory: Resentful and loving, taking responsibility and passing on responsibility. In this sense, del Sarto's mono log is clearly a sincerely held view of the world, but is precisely the kind of view that a real person holds: Filled with inaccuracies and competing self-images. One of the crucial clues to the meaning of the poem is the superlative that Andrea del Sarto has earned: â€Å"Faultless Painter†. Del Sarto has interpreted this vision of himself to mean that he has managed to be technically perfect but emotionally limited, yet that superlative doesn't seem to just point to a flawless technician. Del Sarto has apparently achieved notoriety in his life, yet he is still unsatisfied with his work. In del Sarto's worldview, his wife has made it so that he is only technically proficient, not emotionally proficient. But it is quite clear that del Sarto is actually deeply emotiona... ... loving husband, and a strong man. Unfortunately, his real world is not perfect, so he finds that he is only a faultless but not exceptional painter, a husband who is married to a woman who spends his money, and a man who is unable to stand up to his wife. It is unquestionable that del Sarto honestly believes all of these things. The fact that his beliefs are based on mutually contradictory components does not change the fact that this is clearly the statement of a man's worldview. Browning gives us the image of a man walking through his own self-image, and invites the reader to share in the uncertainty about del Sarto. Without ever hearing from others, such as his peers, his patrons, and his wife, it is impossible to know the truth; the only thing we can know is what del Sarto thought and what his worldview was, and that is enough to understand the man and his art.

LOCAL LITERATURE Evercom Auto Supply is working under manual method which sometimes causes customer dissatisfaction because of the slow process on how they transact to their customers and the occurrence of some errors that are not expected such as doubling the items purchased by the customers, misplaced of the carbon copy of receipt, mistakes in listing of an items purchased by the customer, sometimes the items purchased by the customer is not listed on a receipt, a wrong computation of the items purchased by the customer and sometimes they forgot to record the damage item. The occurrence lost and improper recording of some items. They had difficulties on accessing the item in the inventory due to manual system operation. 2.1.1. Specific Problem 1. How to develop a module that will monitor the fast and slow moving of items, reorder, critical level, safety stock and back order of its inventory? Evercom Auto Supply doesn’t have a computerized system, they do not monitor on their fast and slow moving items, reorder, critical level, safety stock and back order. It is difficult to determine what items are in demand and those are not because their records of sales and inventory are written at one record book. The owner is not aware in monitoring the stocks, if the stocks are in critical level or re-ordering point and needed to replenish. The owner doesn’t have idea about the safety stock and he doesn’t know if the items have damage or not. 2. How to design, develop, and implement a module that will improve their purchasing order? Evercom Auto Supply purchased their items from their supplier. There will be in-charge person to check their items manually. After checking all the items, the person in-charge will write down all the items on a piece of paper that is needed to order. Sometimes the supplier will go to the store and ask the  owner if what they want to order. There are times that they need to order large quantities of an item. It takes a lot of time to do that because they manually check the items on their store and the record book. 3. How to design, develop, and implement a module that will improve their sales transaction? Evercom Auto Supply is faced with such problems in dealing with their customers on their have made. The problem of that is the manual process of their business transaction it takes a lot of time to consume because of the repeated process of doing a receipt by completing the information include on that. When the customers buy a large quantity of items, sometimes they do not list all the items buy by the customer. And they have incorrect computation and listing of items in the receipt. In computing the total purchased of the customer, the in-charge person will write down all the items purchased by the customer in a receipt and then sum up the entire total purchased. 4. How to design, develop, and implement a module that will easily generate reports? Evercom Auto Supply is faced with such problems in generating reports because they have difficulty in acquiring supplier reports and inventory reports. They also have problems in improper handling of a receipt had been neglected. This study relies on information researched by the proponents. Most of the information presented here comes from the interviews conducted at the book store, although all names have been changed for privacy. Note that we were able to speak to the store’s manager and owner, but not any clerks in particular. The clerk’s profile is therefore based on answers given by the other two employees, and on our own assumptions.

Daily Devotional – Reglion Essay Free Online Research Papers Daily Devotional Reglion Essay I would just like to say that writing this devotional is a very new experience for me, somewhat intimidating, a little scary, but very rewarding as well. Although I have been a Christian for going on six years now, I still find it hard to express my feelings. I believe that people will take something away from my devotional due to the very simplistic nature of the writings within it. I very much consider myself a ‘searcher’ but also very much a believer. I don’t know if you can even combine these two definitions and have other Christians still feel what you have to say is relevant. I don’t have extensive biblical knowledge. I am not a regular attendee of church. What I can say is that I have a relationship with a god that wants a relationship with me. Marriage can be a veritable roller coaster of emotion. One minute you are top of the world, the next you are in a freefall, not knowing where this ride is going to take you. There is only one constant in a successful, loving marriage, and that constant would be the very person that created the two parties and nurtured their relationship, our savior Jesus Christ. God is all powerful, this we know, but isn’t it amazing that the creator of all cared enough for us that he created marriage. God understands that one of our most natural and common needs in our lives is companionship. The loving touch of another, a gentle word spoken to encourage, simple displays of interaction can be the most treasured moments of our lives. God created marriage for this reason and another very important reason, to glorify him. Consider this scripture: I Corinthians 11:3 Now I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God. I must admit I had to ponder this scripture for some time. After some time of introspection I feel God is simply saying make me the focus of your marriage. Men be good stewards of the gift God has given you. Look towards God as your authority; use his guidance to build a strong and loving relationship with your wives. Wives trust God in the lives of your husbands. God, Christ, Men, Women, we are all connected. We are extensions of our father, and I cannot think of a better testament to the loving nature of Jesus, than a loving marriage. Questions 1.
